For the second straight summer, Jodie Monger '88, Mark and Emily Gray opened up their summer home on the Chesapeake Bay for a Juniata College alumni event. This year, a total of 32 alumni, family and friends traveled to the beach house in Perryville, Maryland for a wonderful day of Juniata socializing by the water with lots of sand, relaxing, swimming, good food and great times. There was also a pontoon boat on hand that folks took advantage of during the day.
As evidenced by the pictures (click above to view them), mostly everyone in attendance wore something Juniata and had a wonderful day. In addition, Stan Butler ’63 brewed his own beer and brought along numerous types of his efforts. The goal was to determine which would be good enough to be tabbed as the "official" Juniata brew, but those who sampled the beverages said that they were all so good it was difficult to select just one.
Alumni from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 200s were on hand
for the event, so it is obviously an outing that spoke to numerous decades
Special thanks goes to Jodi Monger Gray and her family for opening up their "get away" home to entertain and host everyone in attendance.
