Take Juniata College alumni, family and friends, add in good food, wine and the sounds of a big band and what have you got? A wonderful evening and a comfortable and excellent party atmosphere. Fellow Juniatians gathered in Stewartstown, PA (south of York) on Saturday, August 27th at Naylor Wine Cellars/Vineyard for an enjoyable evening.

A total of 20 people associated with Juniata were in attendance ranging in class years from the 1950s through the 1990s. Overall, there were over 530 folks on hand for the Summer Sounds '05 Festival at Naylor Wine Cellars/Vineyard.

The evening started with wine tasting and light food and continued with wine tasting and dinner for most in attendance. There was excellent food being served by a group that had a booth set up for the evening. Around 7:30 p.m. a big band started the entertainment portion of the fesitival and over 70 percent of the folks in attendance hit the dance floor immediately. Wine tasting continued throughout the evening which ended around 10:00 p.m. Many Juniata stories and experiences were exchanged throughout the night and it was wonderful to see some new faces at the event.
