Alumni Weekend 2005 was fantastic, well-attended and very memorable for those who made the journey back to Juniata College. With the exception of a little rain on Friday, the four-day stretch could not have gone any better than it did. The rain and dampness did not keep everyone from taking part in outside activities such as the annual golf outing. However, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday were rain-free weather days that made the Juniata campus look as gorgeous as always.

Overall more than500 alumni, family and friends made an appearance on College Hill to take part in reunion classes from '55, '60, '65, '70, '75, '80, '85, '90 and Emeriti (Classes from 1954 and lower). There were plenty of non-reunion alums on campus as well. Those who returned to College Hill, were able to experience one of the best Alumni College programs in the history of Alumni Weekend, as well as a festive atmosphere and numerous memorable times. Reunion classes had their dessert gatherings on Friday evening and then enjoyed their individual class dinners on Saturday night. Other highlights on the schedule were the All-Class Dinner on Friday evening, where Russell Hill '55 delivered the message for the 50th reunion class and entertained everyone in Ellis Hall with his comments, the Alumni Assembly on Saturday morning, where four Juniata graduates (Friedhelm "Fred" H. Wulczyn '75 - Alumni Achievement Award, Daniel F. O'Sullivan '64 - Harold B. Brumbaugh '33 Alumni Service Award, Todd S. Emrick '92 - Young Alumni Achievement Award and Jeffrey M. Varnes '64 - William E. Swigart, Jr. '37 Humanitarian Award) were honored for their work and achievements and all of the reunion classes were recognized, and the Picnic on Oller Lawn on Saturday.

Thank you to all of the volunteers from each class year and all of the Juniata College staff that volunteered their time during the weekend to help assemble and make the four days as memorable as they were.
