The Juniata College baseball team made its spring break “home” Fort Pierce, FL, and on the afternoon of March 3, alumni, family members and friends made the Out of Bounds Steak and Grill Restaurant its home. A total of 56, including the players and coaches of the College Hill diamond squad, gathered in the center of the restaurant (which normally closes at 2:00 p.m., but remained in operation for the Juniata contingent) and enjoyed a wonderful lunch (ordered from the menu) and special times together.

Parents in attendance were able to sit with their student-athletes and mingle with other blue and gold constituents in attendance. Director of Alumni Relations Bub Parker ’91 addressed the group and thanked the parents and alumni in attendance for raising such fine Juniata citizens and for their support of Juniata athletics, specifically, Juniata baseball.

Unfortunately, Juniata came out on the short end of game that evening (which was moved from its original 10:00 a.m. scheduled start) against LaRoche College. The Eagles dropped a 16-13 slugfest.
