Delaware Valley Alumni Club Philadelphia Zoo Event

Elephant at the Philly ZooView the Event Photo Gallery.

Once again, the Delaware Valley Alumni Club hosted an event at the Philadelphia Zoo as a total of 27 alumni, parents, family and friends journeyed to America's First Zoo on Saturday, June 2. Children young and old were thrilled to take in all of the animals and attractions.

With plenty of sunshine to go around, those in attendance enjoyed time to view some of the exhibits before gathering at the Picnic Grove for lunch. After lunch, everyone continued through the zoo at their own pace and got to check out the animals who call the Philly Zoo home. The return of the big cats in a new exhibit called Big Cat Falls added extra excitement again this year. That three of the four elphants were still at the zoo was a pleasant surprise for the group. One has already been moved and the three remaining elephants will move to another zoo in the near future.

Alumni attendees represented the decades of the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 00's.
