The Baccalaureate Service is part of the rich tradition surrounding the celebration and honoring of the undergraduate careers of Juniata College students. The service features a procession of the degree candidates and the faculty of the college in academic regalia. It includes a recognition of the many ways in which families, friends, faculty, and administration have profoundly influenced and shaped the lives of the students over the years. In recent years, the Baccalaureate service has become an inter-faith service with scripture readings and personal sharing by members of the graduating class representing a variety of faith traditions. There is also a special musical offering by the college Concert Choir.
