Inbound Internship 2015

Student interns should be dedicated, hard-working, creative, well organized, detail orientated, and willing to take initiative. Past Inbound experience is desired (especially satisfactory execution of the Peer Leader position), but not required.
Interns typically work between 35-40 hours per week in the summer. Internships will begin in the Spring and work part time in the office researching retreat options. In the Summer the Intern postion will switch from a part time position that is paid hourly to a full-time postion that is paid bi-weekly via stipend. Students are responsible for their own housing and meals. On-campus options are available.
RAs and fall athletes are unable to fill these positions due to scheduling conflicts in August.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis; however, the aim is to select interns by the beginning of February. Applicants will be contacted via email if invited for an interview.
Intern positions will focus on assisting the Inbound Coordinator with the planning and execution of the Inbound program, including planning approximately 35 retreat groups’ activities; developing and leading Peer Leader training; advisor recruitment; coordinating program logistics with various college departments and outside organizations; responding to requests for information from prospective participants; attending new student orientation to promote Inbound and answers questions for families and students; marketing Inbound through social media and email. In the summer, some weekends and evenings will be required. The Summer portion of the position also includes extended work days throughout Peer Leader training and Inbound in August.
Preferred qualifications: Sophomore or junior standing. Previous experience with Inbound. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and willingness to drive Juniata’s fleet vehicles (car, 12-passenger van, mini-bus).
