Faculty Services

The faculty services assistant provides support for the Professional Development Committee and the Personnel Evaluation Committee. On this website, you will find information regarding both committees and links to forms and other information that may be helpful to you. Also, you are able to update your online contact information, request a change to your faculty bio (produced in hardcopy and on the web by the Office of the Provost), and view your course evaluations.

Professional Development Committee

Current committee members: Ryan Mathur (chair), Russ Shelley, Xinli Wang, Alison Fletcher, Bill Thomas

Purpose: Administration of funding in support of professional development activities for faculty members including attendance and participation at conferences and workshops, scholarship activities and curriculum development.

Personnel Evaluation Committee

Current committee members: Jack Barlow(chair), Marlene Burkhardt, Henry Thurston-Griswold, Belle Tuten, Bob Miller, Ruth Reed, Larry Mutti

Purpose: Establish and implement policies and procedures for evaluation of faculty members for contract renewal, promotion and tenure, making recommendations to the Provost regarding these decisions.
