Peace & Conflict Studies

Choose a designated Program of Emphasis (POE) in peace and conflict studies or communication and conflict resolution. Or, integrate the study of PACS with other fieldssuch as psychology, environmental science, world languages, information technology, education, history, philosophy, sociology and more.

Our Recent Graduates in Graduate School

Kelsey Gvozdich ’10 is currently attending law school at Widener University in Wilmington, Del. While at Juniata, she participated in the Washington Center internship.

Our Recent Graduates in the Workforce

Scott Sloat ’10 is serving in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. He also recently finished an internship with the Carnegie Council’s education division in New York City.

Sara Beth Stoltzfus ’09 is employed as a residential advocate at the Family Abuse Center in Waco, Texas where she helps to mediate conflicts between residents.

Sonia Eqbal Zeerak ’08 is completing her master’s degree in postwar recovery and development at the University of York in the United Kingdom. Following her graduate study, she has an offer to continue working with the World Bank.
